Metadata schema defined in the framework of the European standard data model for sea surface current velocity data measured by High Frequency Radar (HFR) systems. The European standard data model specifies the structured representation of metadata and data for different levels of sea surface velocity data products for HFR data implementation in European marine data infrastructures, describing attributes of metadata and data in terms of semantics, syntax and optionality. The European standard data model also specifies the Quality control (QC) procedures to be applied to sea surface velocity data from HFR for enabling their distribution towards the marine data portals.
